I've been using jeppesen charts for a little while now, after decades of relying on government charts for ifr flying. I’ve filled up my first logbook and moving into a jeppesen logbook. I just bought a new 1 year subscription for my ifd 440 for $220.00 using two discount codes. Most people just get the navigation database subscription from jeppesen and either never update the terrain card or they do it only occasionally.
